GBX - George Bowie - Aden Music Festival

George Bowie, better known by his stage name GBX—is a legendary DJ and electronic/house music producer hailing from Glasgow, Scotland. For over three decades, he’s been a central figure on UK airwaves, hosting high-profile shows such as the GBX Anthems night and the Clyde 1 Breakfast Show, with whom he holds a Sony award and has entertained morning audiences across Scotland for more than 25 years.

As a producer, GBX has crafted energetic remixes and original tracks—favorites include “Bits and Pieces (Radio Edit)”, “Yes Sir, I Can Boogie (GBX Remix)”, “Take My Hand (GBX Remix)”, and collaborations like “Summer Fling” and “Woman of the World” in partnership with Sparkos.

In May 2025, he stunned fans by scoring a surprise No. 1 on Scotland’s country charts with a remix of Cammy Barnes’ “Whiskey Roll”, merging electronic dance beats with traditional bagpipes. Fans dubbed it “Raveheart”—a nod to its explosive rave‑bagpipe sound—and it led to live performances at major venues like Glasgow’s OVO Hydro and Aberdeen, reflecting the fresh heights to which GBX has taken his cross‑genre creativity.
